If you use the free eligibility tester, we collect what you enter (such as graduation year, target roles, and locations). If you create an account, we collect your sign-in details and the profile and resume you choose to add. We also record basic, first-party usage analytics (such as which pages are viewed) to improve the product.

We use your profile and resume only to produce your personalized eligibility and match analysis and to operate your account. Your resume and profile are private to your account. They are never published on our public pages and are never included in the aggregate statistics on this site.

The SignalMax Careers browser extension shows, on a company website or a LinkedIn company or profile page, who to contact for an internship there. To do that it reads the company or person on the page you are actively viewing and looks that company up in SignalMax; it reads your SignalMax session so you stay signed in inside the panel; and, when you connect your own LinkedIn, it retrieves profile and company details through your account via our data provider (Unipile). On an internship application form it can pre-fill your details and draft answers from your profile, and only when you ask it to.

The extension does not track your browsing history, does not run on search engines, social feeds, email, or your own SignalMax tabs, and sends us nothing except the identity of the company or person you are viewing. You can sign out, disconnect LinkedIn in account settings, or remove the extension at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not add your resume or profile to a public database. Public internship statistics are computed only from employer postings, never from student data.

You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing careers@signalmax.ai. We will remove it from active systems.
