Student safety
Students trust us with their goals and, if they choose, their resume. Here is how we protect that, and how to stay safe applying to internships.
Your information is yours
A resume or profile you upload is private to your account. It is never shown on these public pages, never included in our public statistics, and we do not sell student data. You can delete your data at any time; see our privacy summary.
Applications go to the employer
When you apply, you apply on the employer's own site. We are not the hiring employer and we never ask you to send money, gift cards, or bank details to apply for an internship.
Spotting internship scams
Be cautious if a "recruiter" asks you to pay a fee, buy equipment up front, share bank or Social Security details before an offer, or move the conversation to a personal messaging app immediately. Legitimate employers do not require payment to apply. If a posting we show looks fraudulent, tell us at careers@signalmax.ai and we will review and remove it.
